The Harry B. Yerger Residence on 113 W. Upsal Street was built sometime between 1889 and 1899. In an 1889 atlas, the land on which the house now stands was listed as belonging to Samuel Bradbury et al.1 Although the residence owned by Yerger and the neighboring residence appear identical in plan on the 1899 atlas, the 1911 atlas shows the Yerger residence as having extensions on the side.2

Although the house is still listed as the Yerger Residence in 1911, Harry B. Yerger died in 1900, and the house remained in the posession of his widow.3
