1899 Atlas Image showing the Crease House and its surrounding context, aligned to the north.

From viewing old atlas images, it is clear that the Crease House was built sometime between 1871 and 1889. Gopsill's 1899 City Directory lists Orlando Crease as being employed as the vice president of the Spring Garden company on North Broad street. Data records from the 1910 census indicate Mr. Crease as being an immigrant from England.

The building is still there today.

This is a current photo of the house from Google Street View.
