April 12, 1889 - In an 1889 Philadelphia Inquirer article about the Germantown Country Club, Francis B. Reeves is shown as an incorporator of the Elton Land Company, which formed to carry the Germantown Country Club project into effect.

April 12, 1889 - Francis B. Reeves is shown as a member of the Executive Commitee of the Civil Service Association of the city of Germantown.

August 13, 1889 - Two trains collided on this day, and Francis B. Reeves was one of the passengers who escaped. Also shown in this article is the occupation of Francis B. Reeves. He is a wholesale grocer of Germantown.
