The African Collections/ Lincoln University
Lincoln University possesses a large collection that includes over 3,000 piece. The pieces represent a wide geographical range of Africa including such places as Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, the Ivory Coast, Mali, Senegal, Ethiopia, Gambia, Cameroon, and Angola. General regions comprising the collection are western Africa, Central Africa, and Francophone Africa. The collection contains an enormous variety of cultural materials like textiles, sculptures, fine arts, masks, ethnographic materials, baskets, pottery, and archeological materials.
