CONSERVATION

A conservator is someone who mends and preserves artifacts that have been broken or harmed.  This summer our conservator, Pinka, worked with both on the site and in the Museum.  Also, Cindy helped her with some of the jobs.

Here are photos of two things that Cindy cleaned. On the right are some stone beads.  On the left is a figurine that we found.

After the objects are cleaned and repaired, they are ready to be stored or displayed in the museum.
