| AIDONIA |
Aidonia ("I-DON-ee-ah") is anther site with many chamber tombs. In the cemetery there are at least 20 tombs, and most were robbed by looters. Luckily, many of the artifacts were found and brought back to Greece. The tombs there are much more wealthy than the ones at Nemea (so far), with gold jewelry and other expensive artifacts. Also, a horse burial was found in front of one the graves. The artifacts from Aidonia are from 1600-1200 BC (that's 3,600-3,200 years ago!) Here we all are looking at the site:
