Introduction to Using the Templates

The Microsoft PowerPoint Templates available for download are provided to incorporate Bryn Mawr's graphic identity into PowerPoint presentations and large-format posters.

While the templates were designed to be easy-to-use, they do require a basic level of proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint. You will need to know:

• how to work with slide masters, including footers;
• how to insert and format images;
• how to add and edit text.

The master slides contain the Bryn Mawr identity and will be applied to each new slide created. If you choose to insert a title on the slide master, it too will appear on each new slide created. Three sample slides are included within each template. A poster designed using a PowerPoint slide template will automatically enlarge to a 42 x 60 inch large-format print at the Copy Center.

Template 1 includes the Bryn Mawr nameplate and title information at the top of the slide, and date, title, and slide number in the footer.

Template 2 includes the Bryn Mawr nameplate and title information at the bottom of the slide.

Template 3 includes the Bryn Mawr seal and title information at the top of the slide, and date, title, and slide number in the footer.

Template 4 includes the Bryn Mawr seal and title information at the bottom of the slide.
