In order to access Financial Edge, Terminal Services Client version 6.0 or later must be installed on your computer. Follow the steps below to install the latest client:

1. Go to http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate
(If you've already signed up, you'll skip straight to Step 7.)

2. Click Start Now, and then click Continue.


3. Follow the directions on the screen to install this ActiveX control.

4. Click Install.
Depending on how your computer is set up, you might need to repeat steps 3 and 4 once more to install a second ActiveX control.

5. If you've already been using Automatic Updates before signing up for Microsoft Update, go to Step 6. If you have not been using Automatic Updates, click:

- Turn it on now to sign up, and then follow the directions on the screen.
- Change setting to turn on Automatic Updates. Follow the directions on the screen.


6. Now that you have set up the Microsoft Update program and turned on Automatic Updates, click Check for Updates.


7. Click to choose Custom installation.

8. Microsoft Update scans your computer for the updates your computer needs.


9. Click Software, Optional under Select by Type.

10. Click to choose the checkbox next to Remote Desktop Connection.
(If you don't see 'Remote Desktop Connection', the client is already installed on your computer. Continue only if there are updates to be installed.)


11. Click Review and install updates.

12. Click Install Updates.

13. Once the installation is complete, restart may be required. If so, click Restart Now.
If restart is not needed, click Close.
