If your telephone is not working, please check to see that the telephone wire is firmly in the jack and the jack is firmly in the wall. Also, verify that the receiver is firmly in place and actually keeping the switchhook firmly down. If you still do not have a dial tone, contact the Help Desk at x7440 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
You should also contact the Help Desk to schedule the moving of a telephone to a different office or its transfer to another individual. This is important so our caller ID displays indicate the correct caller for those who will see the name of the caller in addition to their phone number.
If you would like to request a new extension or voice mailbox that includes voice mail menus, or if you need to reassign an extension to someone else, please contact the Help Desk. Have a voice mailbox that you do not know the password to? Contact the Help Desk and they will be happy to assist you.
