We would like to advise you that Bryn Mawr College is making available to its undergraduate students the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP), an optional insurance program offered by A.W.G Dewar, Inc.
The Plan is intended to minimize the financial loss which may occur when a student must withdraw from the College for medical reasons. The Plan complements Bryn Mawr’s current refund policies for comprehensive fees, providing assurance throughout the semester of a 100% refund of insured costs for withdrawal due to medical/physical illness and a 60% refund of insured costs for withdrawal due to medical/psychological illness.
Bryn Mawr College’s refund policy is in compliance with federal regulations and is detailed in the Undergraduate College Catalogue. It is based on the daily percentage of time in attendance in the enrollment period. The following examples illustrate how the Tuition Refund Plan works with the College’s refund schedule for tuition and College fees, if withdrawal is due to physical illness:

Should you decide to enroll in the Plan, please complete the application and mail it with your payment directly to A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. The completed application and premium must be returned to Dewar before the opening day of classes.
