The Academic Support and Learning Resources Specialist aims to help students achieve academic success, which will contribute to an enjoyable and fulfilling college experience. This person assists students in identifying and implementing techniques for more effective learning, studying, test-taking and note-taking. The specialist also helps students explore effective techniques for time and stress management so that they feel confident and motivated in their academic work. The Academic Support and Learning Resources Specialist collaborates with each student to identify and adopt methods that utilize her unique strengths and promote success.
This semester, the Academic Support and Learning Resources Specialist will be hosting Senior Success Coffee Chats from 11-12 every other Wednesday and Academic Success Coffee Chats from 12-1 each Tuesday in Guild Hall Conference Room . To meet with the Academic Support
and Learning Resources Specialist, students can schedule an appointment by calling the Dean's Office at (610)526-5375 or coming to walk-in hours from 3:30-4:30pm on Thursdays.
Students can meet with the specialist as individuals or in small
groups for as many sessions as needed to promote success and confidence.
The
Academic Support and Learning Resources Specialist is also available to
present to classes or to groups interested in academic success
