Now and Later: A Conversation for Sophomores about how learning now about fellowships can help you both Now and Later!
Dean Michelle Mancini, Thursday, November15, 7-8pm, THOMAS 224
NOTE NEW DATE!
Fellowships can provide funding for graduate study, independent research and travel, sometimes during college, sometimes later. Each year, more than 50 Bryn Mawr students apply for one or more nationally competitive fellowships. While the number of winners is necessarily smaller, most applicants will tell you that they gained enormously from the process. This session will tell you about a couple of the most attractive fellowships. More importantly, we'll look together at some of what's involved in the fellowships application process to help you make good decisions now about classes, co-curricular activities and more! (Note: while some of the fellowships discussed require US citizenship, this session can be useful for international students.)
