Laura Blankenship is the Senior Instructional Technologist. She has a Ph.D. in English with an emphasis on composition and rhetoric. She wrote her dissertation on the use of blogging to teach writing. Laura has helped faculty with Blackboard, podcasting, screencasting, creating course web sites, putting together multimedia and video presentations and much more. She has given many presentations on the use of technology in education. Most recently, she presented at NITLE's workshop on Scholarly Collaboration and Small Colleges in the Digital Age. Her interests are many, but she is especially interested in social computing, open source in education, multimedia, and the use of digital images. Christine Boyland is the Director of the Language Learning Center. In that capacity, she assists faculty with implementing technology in language instruction. Chris has studied Russian at Yale University and has also taught at William and Mary and St. Anselm College. With other IS staff members, she directed the Summer Multimedia Institute in 2007.

David Consiglio is the coordinator of Information Services for the Social Science and Administrative departments at Bryn Mawr College. Consiglio works with researchers and students in the areas of statistics, research and survey methodology. While pursuing his graduate degrees, Consiglio taught statistics, statistical programming, and research methodology at the University of Maryland. Over the years he has developed and consulted on hundreds of surveys and research projects. In June 2006, Consiglio was part of a team that included LibQual+ developer Dr. Fred Heath, and presented a workshop on assessment at the American Library Association Annual Conference. The ETC is a group of colleagues with different talents and approaches who work together to help faculty, students and staff integrate technology into their teaching, learning, and research. While the ETC's focus is on educational aspects of the college, we also work on projects of an administrative nature that contribute to a robust technology infrastructure for Bryn Mawr College. The ETC's main office is located in the basement of Guild Hall, across from the main computing lab.
