Geochemistry at Bryn Mawr College includes paleoecological, sedimentological, and high temperature petrological research. The Department of Geology has fully-equipped geochemical facilities for student and faculty research. Our major geochemical equipment include an Agilent ICP-MS, and Eltra Carbon and Sulfur determinator, a coulometer, a Carpenter Systems Microsampler, and a Dionex Ion Chromatograph. Bryn Mawr College is currently designing and building a new state of the art geochemistry research facility in Park Science Center, with a predicted completion date of Fall 2011. For more information of the geochemical equipment in the Department of Geology, see the Geochemical Equipment page.
