This field trip was designed for intro structural geology students to give them experience in visualizing, recording and interpreting fold-thrust belt structures within the Appalachian orogen. The trip was led by Professor Arlo Weil, Bryn Mawr College and held over the weekend of April 5th through the 7th, 2002.

 Rainbow Rocks, Mifflen, Pennsylvania.

 Sideling Hill Syncline, Maryland.

Sunday April 7th

  Silurian section at Roundtop Hill near Handcock, Maryland.
