is enviro-news?
The enviro-news is an e-mail distribution list used to communitcate important
information and announcements among students, staff, faculty and others interested
in Environmental Sciences/Studies at Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges. This
information may include important deadlines for Environmental Sciences concentrators,
announcements of speakers or other events, postings of summer internships
or other environment-related jobs, or news items of interest to the list.
How
do I join enviro-news?
You can sign yourself up for enviro-news by following these steps:
From
your own e-mail account, address a message to majordomo@brynmawr.edu.
In
the body of the message, type subscribe enviro-news and nothing
else.
Send
the message. That's it! In a few minutes, you should receive e-mail confirmation
that you have been subscribed.
If you have
trouble subscribing, send e-mail to enviro-news-owner@brynmawr.edu
explaining the problem.
Who
may join?
Anyone may join enviro-news.
How
may I use enviro-news?
Once you are subscribed, you will receive any messages that are sent to the
list. To send a message to ALL enviro-news subscribers, address your message
enviro-news@brynmawr.edu. Only those who are already part of enviro-news
may send messages to the list. Enviro-news is not a discussion list; it is
exclusively for news and announcements of interest to Bi-Co environmental
science/studies folks. Commercial use, advertisements for goods or services,
or unauthorized use of the list of subscribers is strictly prohibited.
How
can I leave enviro-news?
You can leave enviro-news anytime by following these steps: (It is strongly
recommended that BMC Environmental Sciences Concentrators and faculty remain
subscribed!)
