Bryn Mawr has a long history of alumnae leadership and volunteerism. Every year, Bryn Mawr’s fundraising volunteers are critical partners in reaching annual fundraising goals. We couldn’t do it without you!
Development Committee of the Board of Trustees
Caroline McCormick Slade Society
The Slade Society recognizes individuals who make leadership gifts of $2,500 or more. Fundraising volunteers work throughout the year to promote membership in The Slade Society through individual calls, emails and visits.
Class Chairs
The roles of Class Chair and Class committee member are vital to the success of Bryn Mawr’s fundraising efforts. Volunteers act as ambassadors to represent the mission of the College. Chairs and committee members connect with classmates via letters or email, organize reunion gift programs and recruit committees.
Class Chairs are elected at Reunion, but committee members are welcome at any time, and there are many opportunities to get involved.
Reunion Gift Chairs and Committees
Reunions are a special time to renew old friendships, to reconnect with classmates, and to revive the shared Bryn Mawr connection. Classes celebrate the College experience through special gift drives, and thus ensure that future generations of students enjoy the same educational opportunities they received. Reunion gift committees and their chairs work with Bryn Mawr Fund staff and Development staff in building a meaningful class gift.
Bryn Mawr Families
The Bryn Mawr Parents' Council includes parents and family members who are active volunteers in the advancement of the College’s programs and initiatives. Members of the Parents' Council support The Bryn Mawr Fund, represent the parent perspective to administrators and welcome new Bryn Mawr families to the College community. They serve as a resource for information and support by responding to questions and concerns that parents and families may have about the Bryn Mawr experience.
