The
Office of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences helps graduate
students with administrative matters including admission, registration,
course evaluations, and financial aid. The Dean of the Graduate School
of Arts and Sciences is Dale Kinney. Dean
Dale Kinney is
also Professor of History of Art. She teaches one course a year,
usually a graduate seminar, in the area of her specialty, medieval
art and architecture and especially medieval Rome.
The Graduate Group in Archaeology, Classics and History of Art is
under the direction of Catherine Conybeare,
Associate Professor of Greek, Latin and Classical Studies.
The office staff are Teri Lobo, Administrative
Assistant, and Lea Miller, Secretary. Teri handles most aspects of
financial aid and makes appointments with the Dean; Lea takes care
of registration.

The
office is located on the first floor of the M. Carey Thomas Library
and is open weekdays, 9:00-5:00.
Prospective
applicants are encouraged to contact the graduate advisors of
the departments in which they wish to enroll to inquire about
the particular requirements of that department concerning subject
preparation, language or technical skills, and test scores.
