Services
The Nurse Practitioners in the Gyn clinic are committed to providing you with the information you need to make intelligent decisions about your health care needs. Our goal is to create a warm, comfortable environment that promotes a trusting relationship between you and the Nurse Practitioner.
In the Gyn clinic, we have the luxury of time, the time it takes to explain things to you and answer your questions. Appointments are ½ hour long and there is no limit to the number of visits you can have every year. The cost of visits is covered by the school undergraduate health insurance.
The services we provide include:
- routine annual exams
- sexuality counseling
- birth control counseling,
- provision of most birth control methods
- diagnosis and treatment of vaginal infections
- testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
- pregnancy tests
- diagnosis and treatment of common menstrual irregularities
