Health Center Services - Mission Statement
The purpose of the Bryn Mawr College Health Center is to:
- Identify and treat medical illness in students
- Identify and treat stress-related illness in students
- Make available to students appropriate referral services
- Make available to students appropriate psychological, psychiatric support services
- Educate students about high-risk lifestyle activities and promote strategies to reduce risks
- Help students understand how to utilize the health care system in an appropriate way
- Reassure students about what is normal in their own growth and development
- Give guidance about the functional ability of the student
- Promote a campus environment which encourages a healthy lifestyle
