Volunteer and International Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunities in the Bryn Mawr and Philadelphia areas

There are numerous opportunities to volunteer in health-related settings in the area.  Health Professions Advising has partnered with the Civic Engagement Office (CEO) to assist you in your search for volunteer experiences.  We put together an online directory of healthcare volunteer opportunities in the Bryn Mawr and Philadelphia areas where Bryn Mawr undergraduates and postbacs have volunteered in the recent years.  This extensive list allows students to search by both field of interest and by location.

The CEO offers partial transportation reimbursement for volunteers; for additional information about the travel reimbursement policy, please click here.

The Career Development Office (CDO) is also available to help you with your search.  Their on-line database of employment, internship, and volunteer opportunities, OCEAN, can be accessed through the CDO website at www.haverford.edu/cdo . The database can be searched by category, geographical location, or keyword. The database is regularly updated.
