Open Enrollment for November 1, 2008 - October 31, 2009 Plan Year
Election Period September 8, 2008 - September 26, 2008
Benefits-eligible
staff and faculty should have received packets containing
their Open Enrollment materials. If you do not receive these
materials by the 10th, please contact Human Resources as soon as possible.
All election and enrollment forms must be returned to Human
Resources by 5:00pm on Friday, September 26, 2008.
Quick Tips
- We are using PeopleSoft for our online enrollment once again. Navigate through this page. Click the "Sign In" button to open the sign-on screen. You should have received a copy of the instructions in your packet, but you can also download them.
- The latest information on participating doctors, dentists, and other providers is available on the websites for Independence Blue Cross and Delta Dental.
- Marty will be going to various departments and locations around campus for information sessions. You will be able to ask questions and complete forms.
- All forms and directories are available from Human Resources, at the enrollment/information sessions, and at the Benefits Fair. The Benefits Fair is being held on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Thomas Great Hall.
- Your PeopleSoft password is the same as that for your Bryn Mawr email account.
What to Submit For Your Benefit Elections
If you are
- Maintaining your current Flexible Benefit Plan elections
- Complete, sign and return the Coverage Continuation Form to Human Resources OR
- Use the online enrollment option and select the "I Have No Changes" button.
- Making changes to your Flexible Benefit Plan elections other than those listed in number 3 below
- Use the online enrollment option OR
- Complete, sign and return the Flexible Benefit Election Form to Human Resources. You can request one from Human Resources.
- Making any changes to your medical or dental coverage level (single to family, etc.), changing from a Personal Choice to a Keystone plan, or increasing your supplemental life insurance
- Submit your Flexible Benefit Plan changes using one of the follwoing methods AND
- Use the online enrollment option AND complete any forms OR
- Complete, sign and return the Flexible Benefit Election Form to Human Resources. You can request one from Human Resources.
- Complete the appropriate application/change forms for the carriers. Changes to supplemental life insurance may include a medical questionnaire. Request from Human Resources.

Medical Waiver
If you waive medical benefits, you must certify that you have alternate group medical coverage. The $100 monthly waiver benefit will not continue beyond October unless this information is provided.
