You can make your elections online or by using the Flexible Spending Account Election Form:

When making your election, please account for the fact that eligible expenses are determined by the DATE OF SERVICE, not the date of payment.  If you have any concerns about whether a particular expense will be allowed under the IRS rules, please contact Human Resources before submitting your election rather than making assumptions.

We have several documents available to help you understand the Flexible Spending plan.

You must have worked for the College for a full year as of January 1, 2013 before being eligible to participate in the Medical Spending plan.  There is no waiting period to participate in the Dependent Care Spending plan
