POSITION TITLE:  Senior Assistant Director of Admissions

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Exercises general admissions professional duties to facilitate the recruitment and admission of diverse and academically qualified undergraduate students.


As a key member of the Communications and Campus Visit (CCV) Team, reports to the Associate Director for C&CV and plays an important leadership role on the team. This includes:

     -    Collaborate with the Associate Director in writing and editing content for the     

      web, email social media, and print communications. Assist in ensuring that the    

      College’s brand positioning is incorporated appropriately into all admissions-related

      communications, campus visits, and events.

  •      Participate in developing smart, creative, and efficient communications strategies to stabilize existing markets and grow in new markets.
  • Interview prospective students on campus and via Skype and writes interview reports
  • Assist with development and review of admission recruitment publications and correspondence.
  • Serves as territory manager to oversee recruitment of students in limited geographic territories.
  • Conduct recruitment travel as needed.
  • Evaluates admission applications
  • Prepares geographic and programmatic area summary reports
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or directed.

• Willing and able to work outside of conventional work week and perform overnight travel

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred

• Three-five years of admissions experience or a combination of equivalent admissions and student services/visitor relations/communications experience
