Staff Education and Support Specialist
2 year appointment
JOB SUMMARY: Works as part of a 4-person team developing an innovative embedded technology support program for staff; assists with new and existing College Staff Education programs; works within College’s administrative and academic departments to promote a culture of technological self-sufficiency; plays a major role in developing, documenting, leading, assessing, and evaluating various staff learning needs, initiatives, opportunities, and courses; provides one-on-one and small group learning opportunities as part of a significant bi-college initiative.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor’s degree; teacher certification or extensive formal coursework and experience in Education; comprehensive teaching experiences including employment, student teaching, and/or volunteer; ability to communicate and interact successfully with a diverse professional community skilled in and able to teach and learn a wide variety of computer programs and processes; ability to successfully collaborate in developing and organizing education programs; minimum 1 year professional experience desired.
