With the end of the Great Depression and Second World War, the founding of parishes resumed in earnest. It was slow in the fourties as the American economy recovered, but the 50's and 60's would be marked by the growth of not just the baby-boomer generation, but of catching up with the population that had grown since the collapse of the stock market.
