The Archives of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia

All research for this site was done from sources found at the Philadelphia Archdiocese Archives and Website. Parish foundings were found in the Philadelphia Catholic Directories (1768-2003). Additional historical information was pulled from archived parish histories, prepared both by the parishes themselves and by seminarians at the St. Charles Borromeo Seminary. Map information was reproduced from cluster maps on file at the archives from 1995 and augmented with current info from the archdiocese website.
