CONTRACTOR: William J. Patterson
This Jacobean-revival dwelling is little altered today from the first decade of the 20th century. The most dramatic
change is that now the house is nestled in a bower of trees whereas here the open landscape affords wonderful
glimpses of the barns and carriage houses for neighboring estates. The contractor William J. Patterson who
constructed this house and many others pictured in this exhibition was a later owner of 8801 Crefeld Street.
