The original Teagle grant was developed with the secondary goal of better understanding the administrative resources required to support department-level assessment. Key administrative stakeholders (Provosts and Associate Provosts and Institutional Research staff) were closely involved in the retreats and also had several meetings of their own as the process unfolded. Provostial and institutional research staff wrote annual "journalistic summaries" of their experience working with departments across the Tri-Co on the grant.
