Self Check-out: Introducing Bryn Mawr's first Self-Check-out library station! Running late for practice? Need to catch the Blue Bus? Want to check out some library items on your lunch break? No need to stand in line at Circulation - Self Check-out allows you to sign out your own library items when it's convenient for you. Find a glitch? Reference Librarians can help you at the TECH Bar

One-on-one consultation: Schedule a meeting with a specialist to discuss your research project, course syllabus, or thesis. Reference librarians can help you design your project, define your research topic, and locate and access resources. They also know the ins and outs of searching Tripod and electronic databases - when Google just won't cut it, schedule a consult with a reference librarian!

Use online resources after hours

After Hours Help: We know the Night Owls are not just an a cappella group, and we would never suggest that Bryn Mawr students procrastinate... but, if you're late in getting started on a project, you can still find help at the TECH Bar! TECH Bar staff can guide you through online documentation, or a wide variety of hardware and software available at the Canaday Media Lab. We will get you started on your project and schedule a consultation with a specialist if you need further support.

Software available to support your work

Explore the cutting edge: TECH Bar staff are equipped to support your use of hardware and software in teaching, learning, and research. Supported software includes Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; Audacity audio recording and editing; Blackboard course management software; WordPress blogging; Zimbra calendaring and email; ArtStor image repository; iMovie digital video production; Contribute web editing; the Microsoft Office Suite; and other computing tasks.
