Tripod gives not only references to books but also to government publications
such as Congressional hearings and US and Pennsylvania agency reports. It

Databases
Bryn Mawr subscribes to these databases
which give references -- some also give abstracts and full text -- to
journal articles and other material.

Provides indexing, abstracts and many full-text articles from academic
and popular periodicals in subjects including law, history, psychology,
current events and sociology.
PAIS
(Public Affairs Information Service)
A good source for public policy articles. Links to online
sources and to tri-college locations and holdings. Updated quarterly.
Social
Work Abstracts
A database of the National Association of Social Workers. Contains more
than 35,000 records from social work and related journals. 1977 to the
present. Displays tri-college locations and holdings. Updated semiannually.

Ageline
"AGELINE provides bibliographic coverage of social gerontology, which
is the study of aging in psychological, health-related, social, and economic
contexts. The delivery of health care to the older population and
its associated costs and policies is particularly well covered, as are
consumer, employment, and public policy issues. Inclusive coverage
is from 1978 to the present, with selected coverage from 1966 to 1977."

Studies Database
Provides records and abstracts from Family Studies Database
(FSD) (1970-present) and Australian Family & Society Abstracts (FAMILY)
(1980-present). FSD is published by NISC in association with the National
Council on Family Relations (NCFR). FAMILY is produced by the Australian
Institute of Family Studies. Updated monthly.
