AMs. At the bottom of the musical notation is a note written and signed by Vincent Novello: "This Manuscript is in the hand-writing of my beloved friend Signor Dragonetti, who died on the 16th of April 1846, in the presence of Count Pepoli, Mr. Appleby (his legal friend) and myself."
