Mrs. Gordan's notes, translations, and assorted other miscellaneous papers are organized into 22 boxes as they were received by the library. The bulk of the materials are her notes on various Renaissance figures, arranged by the individuals' names, and her translations of the letters of Poggio Bracciolini. The following is a rough summary of the contents of each box; the scholar making use of these materials should be aware, however, that although the materials within individuals boxes are generally organized, there is only sometimes an overarching organization between boxes.
