Homework will be collected and graded. Late homework will NOT be accepted. You may discuss the problems with other students in the class, but you should hand in your own work.Grading Scheme:
This course consists of two closed book, one hour tests in class; text assignments, Mathematica computer assignments, a project, and a self-scheduled final exam.Grades will be calculated as follows:
Test I 20% (Tentative Date: March 1) Test II 20% (Tentative Date: April 19) Final Exam 25% Text Homework 15% Computer Homework 20% TOTAL 100%Study Groups:
The class will be split into study groups to facilitate in the practice of problems.Extensions:
Extensions will NOT be granted for ANYTHING unless you have written authorization from the Dean's Office, which usually involves death in the family, infirmary stay, etc... Exams may not be taken late without a Dean's excuse in advance.Students will disabilities who will be taking this course and may need disability-related classroom accommodations are encouraged to make an appointment with me as soon as possible.
