“Mathematics and the Cosmos”

 

Monday April 11

 

·        KEYNOTE ADDRESS: Mathematics, Molecular Biology, and Astrophysics”-  Herman Gluck, University of Pennsylvania- Talk at 4:15pm in Park 243 preceded by Tea at 3:30 in Park 355.

·        Math FUN-damentals with arts and crafts, spirograph, puzzles, games, etc. on math table in hallway

       all week.

·         Treasure hunt – Week-long treasure hunt to find  digits around campus.

·        M&M’s counting contest in math hallway.  Guess the number of M&M’s and win a prize!

 

Tuesday April 12

 

·         Student Panel on Summer Experiences for Math Majors:  Park 338  -  5:00-6:00 PM.
