All Mathematics Majors are invited to gather

EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT at 10 PM

to watch the Carl Sagan Award CBS TV Show “NUMB3RS”

starring Rob Morrow, David Krumholtz, and Judd Hirsch

at the Living Room in ERDMAN

Activity Worksheets based on the mathematics presented in each

episode will be available for those who are interested.

The math used in each episode of NUMB3RS is based on real FBI cases. Mathematics consultants work with NUMB3RS throughout production to ensure that the math used to help analyze and solve crimes is real and accurate as depicted by FBI agent Don Eppes (Rob Morrow) who recruits his mathematical genius brother Charlie (David Krumholtz) to help the Bureau solve a wide range of challenging crimes.

Refreshments will be provided by the Department of Mathematics.
