Sunday evenings from 7-8:30pm in Rm. 336. Our help session TA is Jody Krieger (jkrieger@brynmawr.edu).
Computer Sessions:
The
computer lab will be open from 1-4pm on Fridays, 7 to 8:30 PM Mondays and
Wednesdays 8-9pm. Our computer TAs
are Amanda Lu and Christina Cunnane. The lab is rm. 349. Click here to find out your Mathematica

Textbook: Calculus
by Stewart, 5th edition. I have put several copies of the book at
the reserve desk in the Collier Science Library that you may borrow for a
couple hours at a time. If you are buying a copy of the book on-line, it is
very important that you get the 5th edition – otherwise the
homework problems won’t match up. ISBN
number for the text: 0-534-39339-x Library

Bonus Points: If you are
unable to attend one of the special bonus points math talks, you can attend the
math club viewings of Numbers instead. You must take
a copy of the math handout and look through it; although you do not have to do it.
Attending two of the viewings will equal going to one of the math talks. Please
let Prof Donnay know if when you attend the viewings.
Homework Assignments: There will be homework due at the
start of each class.
Quiz: There
will be a weekly quiz to be handed in on Mondays. Guidelines for quiz redos.
Group Assignments for class. Here are the new
group assignments for the second part of the semester. Please sit with your
group in the same place every class.

Project. Here is the list of who
does what problem.
Mathematica: We
will be using this software program during the course. It will be available in
the math lab and at various computer labs around campus. You may also get your
own free copy to use on your computer (provided you are hooked up to the
college network when you are using it) at the computer
center web page.
Mathematica
Assignment 1, Assignment 2, Assignment 4 (Mathematica notebook,
worksheet), Assignment
5 (Mathematica
notebook, worksheet).
If you want
to look at the Mathematica
programs we use in class (but not make your own), you can get the free Mathematica reader program.
Graph paper: here is a file with a page of
graph paper. Print it out and use it for your drawings.
