Textbook: Calculus by Stewart, 5th edition. I have put several copies of the book at the reserve desk in the Collier Science Library that you may borrow for a couple hours at a time. If you are buying a copy of the book on-line, it is very important that you get the 5th edition – otherwise the homework problems won’t match up.                                                              ISBN number for the text: 0-534-39339-x                         Library of Congress Control Number: 2002112186.

Final exam: sections since the 2nd midterm will be covered: S12. 1(Sequences), 12.2 (Series including geometric), 12.3 (Integral test), 12.4 (Comparison test), 12.8 (power series), 12.9 (representing a function using a power series), 12.10 (Taylor Series; when x0=0 these are called maclaurin series – do not worry about the name).

Here is Cover Sheet for Final Exam.

Exam review: Friday Dec 15 from 9 – 10:30 am in Rm. 349.

Office Hours: Friday Dec 15: 1:30 – 2:30; Monday Dec 18 2:30 – 4pm; Wed Dec 20 1-2:30pm.

Bonus Points: If you are unable to attend one of the special bonus points math talks, you can attend the math club viewings of Numbers instead. You must take a copy of the math handout and look through it; although you do not have to do it. Attending two of the viewings will equal going to one of the math talks. Please let Prof Donnay know if when you attend the viewings.
