Tuesday February 12: Examples of Individual Change in teaching Math and Science

Rm. 338, Park Science Building, 7-8:30 pm, refreshments to follow.

Speakers:

Dr. Deborah Bergstrand, Department of Mathematics, Swarthmore College: "Introduciton to Mathematical Thinking", a lower level courses that uses a hands-on approach to expose students to exciting mathematical ideas.

 

Dr. Kim Cassidy, Department of Psychology, Bryn Mawr College: The role collaboration between faculty members and between faculty and students in changing science pedagogy.
