About NELI

| Bryn Mawr College GSSWR | Board of Advisors |         Steering Committee |

The Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research has earned a reputation for excellence and for training its graduates to approach social problems from multiple perspectives and to play multiple roles in the human services field.  The graduate school has extended this approach to the curriculum developed for the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute (NELI). The Executive Leadership certificate program offers individual leadership assessment and coaching, theoretical models, practical tools and peer learning. NELIs curriculum prepares executives to take their organizations to new heights in terms of growth, sustainability, accountability and effectiveness.

Now in its fifth class, the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute  (NELI) was founded in 2004 by Bryn Mawr College's Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research in direct response to nonprofit and public sector leaders in the community who called for a high-level, specialized executive training program tailored to meet the needs of the individual leaders and their agencies. NELI was founded with support from the William Penn Foundation.
