The Future of Bryn Mawr Rowing

The members of the Bryn Mawr rowing program have demonstrated that they have the spirit and the commitment to be outstanding student athletes. They dreamed of racing for Bryn Mawr College, worked to make it a reality, and then worked even harder to prove to themselves and to the rowing community that Bryn Mawr has a viable rowing team, and more, a very dedicated, competitive team.
Our goal for the future of the Bryn Mawr Crew is to create an environment which supplies the necessary facilities for the women to continue their quest of making Bryn Mawr rowing the best it can be. This means supplying the equipment and practice facility to provide a daily challenge for each member of the team to learn and grow in the sport of rowing. It is within this daily challenge that the women of Bryn Mawr College will prepare themselves for taking on the best crews from the local regattas, the Seven Sisters rowing programs and the Dad Vail Championship Regatta.
The word around the rowing community is that the Bryn Mawr rowing program has achieved impressive results in a very short time. The wonderful spirit of this team, combined with the support of the Bryn Mawr community, surely means that there are many more impressive results to come.
