Zami

Zami has the dual purpose of support and visibility for lesbian, gay, transgendered, queer and questioning people of color. Through meetings and discussions, we create a safe space for open dialogue on gender and sexuality within the context of the cultures that we represent. Through campus events, we foster awareness of and support for the community. Centered in the understanding of pluralism and the fluidity of identity, we seek to create an environment of inclusivenss and unity. We believe that true unity starts with open dialogue and a a belief in fairness, kindness, acceptance and curiosity..
