Fr. Jaehwa recommends students to meditate on the Word of God, and pray! He also recommends students to read Interior Castle by Teresa of Avila - a 16th Century Spanish Carmelite nun, a saint, and the first female "Doctor of the Church" to boot! Here is his favorite quote of St. Teresa (was hand written in her prayer notes) :

Nada te turbe; |
Let nothing disturb you, |
