Andrew Brook is Chancellor’s Professor of Philosophy and former Director of the Institute of Cognitive Science at Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and Carnegie Mellon Fellow at Bryn Mawr. At Bryn Mawr, his focus is on environmental ethics and philosophy and cognitive science. His more than 100 publications also include books and papers on Kant, consciousness, and psychoanalytic theory.
