Philosophy Film Series

Oftentimes, there are philosophical ideas hidden within the larger structure of a film. So, for the complimentary purposes of exploring ideas and enjoying a way to relax with fellow students and interested professors, Bryn Mawr presents: the Philosophy Film Series. The Film Series is meant to be fun, in addition to being an opportunity to have some laid back/low stress philosophical conversations!

Last year we watched The Matrix, Bladerunner, and I Huckabees. The films for this semester will be screened about every three weeks.

Possible Films for Fall 2008:

The Matrix
Memento
Stranger Than Fiction
A Scanner Darkly
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Bladerunner
I Huckabees
