The training you receive in posing questions, pursuing answers, and communicating your results is useful in a broad range of careers. While many of our majors have choosen to go on to advanced study in physics or a related area, others have entered industry with a B.A. as engineers, computer analysts, and other types of technical staff. Others have gone into medicine, investment and finance, publishing, or have opened their own businesses. Many have also gone into teaching, taking advantage of our new B.A./M.A. teacher certification program. For more information on careers in physics you can check out our Physics Career page.
