Summer Research Opportunities
This page is a jumping-off point to find summer research opportunities. There are links to specific summer research programs, as well as advice on how to put together a successful application for these programs.
This is a great task to work on over the winter break. The links include research opportunities at other universities, at national labs, and span physics, astronomy, biophysics, applied physics, and engineering. Be sure to pay attention to the application deadlines and to give professors who you'd like to ask for letters of recommendation ample advance notice. Feel free to contact Liz McCormack or Mark Matlin to discuss any of these opportunities. And check out the summer research blog to see what our students have done in the past!
The "Intl." column indicates whether a program appears to offer funding to international students: "Y" means it does, "N" means it does not, "?" means the policy is not known. Programs funded by the National Science Foundation generally do not offer funding to international students.
