New Department Building

Although the 1992 merger of the undergraduate Psychology Department and the graduate Department of Human Development produced the current Psychology Department, it was not possible at that time to combine all department activities into one space. However, the College recently constructed a new Psychology building.

The new home of the Psychology Department consists of a renovated historic building with a three story addition. This results in vastly improved physical facilities available for the department. It combines all faculty offices, labs, and student offices in one building. All faculty have lab space big enough to accommodate students, we have better classroom facilities, there are undergraduate and graduate student lounges, and we have state-of-the-art computer facilities.
