Tier 1

QR  (QUANTITATIVE READINESS REQUIREMENT)

Every incoming student is required to demonstrate Quantitative Readiness (QR) by reaching a benchmark on either the (1) mSAT, (2) mACT, or (3) Bryn Mawr's Q test (given during Customs Week), or (4) by passing the Introduction to Quantitative Reasoning (Qsem) course during the student's first year at Bryn Mawr.

Tier 2

QM  (QUANTITATIVE & MATHEMATICAL REASONING REQUIREMENT)

Many courses in Mathematics, the Sciences, and the Social Sciences fulfill the college-wide Quantitative & Mathematical Reasoning (QM) course requirement.  Every student is required to complete one QM course prior to Fall semester of the senior year.
