Registering for Courses at Swarthmore College

Semester I

First declare your intention to enroll at Swarthmore by enrolling in the generic SWAT 999 course.

For FALL 2008:  Register in Class Number 1087for your first course.

Register in Class Number 1088, if you plan to enroll in a second course at Swarthmore.

Semester I registration begins April 27 and continues until September 9, 2008.

• Pick up an approval form from the Dean's Office.

• Meet with your dean to get approval for taking the Swarthmore course.

• At Swarthmore, pick up or print out a course card. (http://www.swarthmore.edu/Admin/registrar/Add_Drop.html)

• Get the appropriate signatures and return the card to the Registrar's Office at Swarthmore with your Bryn Mawr approval form.

• Return the Bryn Mawr approval form, signed by both your Bryn Mawr dean and Swarthmore's Registrar’s Office, to the Bryn Mawr Registrar's Office. You are not registered until this has been done.

Classes begin Monday, September 1, 2008.

Semester II

For SPRING 2009:  Register in Class Number 1012 for your first course.

Register in Class Number 1013, if you plan to enroll in a second course at Swarthmore.

Semester II registration begins December 1, 2008 and continues until January 27, 2009.

Classes begin Monday, January 19, 2009.

Classes end Friday, May 1, 2009.
