Frequently Asked Questions

1.      My log in isn’t working.  Who should I contact?

New 10-character passwords were required beginning April 9, 2007.  These are permanent passwords, which you will not be required to change as long as you are a student at Bryn Mawr.  If you need help, you can call the help desk at x7440. They can reset your password over the phone once you supply some identifying information. Or email the Registrar’s Office at registrar@brynmawr.edu, please be sure to include your full name and ID number to have your password reset. Your temporary password will be emailed to you.

2.      I’m seeing my enrollment for the current semester, how do I enter classes for next semester?

Select the term that you are registering for from the list.  Then click the Submit button.

3.      How do I add a course when I don’t know the Class Number? How do I add Haverford courses?

When you do not know the 4-digit Class Number, use the Search for Classes option.

  1. Clicking the search button (magnifying glass) will take you to a search screen.
  2. Type the first letter of the department in the Course subject box, or use the scroll bar to move through the list. (The list is very long!  Use the course guide as a reference if you are unsure of the official name of a Bryn Mawr or Haverford department.)
  3. For the course number the search option contains defaults in, in the small box the right enter any or all of the catalog number (ie B101 or H235A).
  4. Leave the course career as undergraduate for both Bryn Mawr and Haverford courses, unless you have permission to enroll in a graduate course.
  5. ***The Institution is always Bryn Mawr College even when you are looking for Haverford courses****
  6. Use the green SEARCH button to bring back your results.  The course titles and catalog numbers are listed in the blue-grey bar above the course detail. Use the Select Class button to select the course and section you want.

4.           Where do I go when I need help?

The Registrar’s Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.  Drop in any time during office hours for personal assistance.
